(One father's test of attitudes)
#1 Son - Peter, was given everything he asked for at Christmas and still he complained.
"I can't play with my new toys Daddy."
"Why not?", said his Father.
"If I ride my bike and accidentally go out into the street, someone could run into me and dent my bike and I could get hurt. If I play with my ball and it rolls away, someone could steal it away from me. If I shoot my pop-gun, it could come back and hit me in the eye. That could give me a black eye. I don't know what to do."

#2 Son - Opie, was given a wheelbarrow full of fresh manure for Christmas and still he was thrilled and excited, having a wonderful time running all over the house and yard.
"I'm so excited Daddy!"
"Why are you excited son?", his Father asked. "If there's this much manure around, there must be a beautiful horse not far behind, trying to play hide-and -seek with me."

We each have a choice, everyday, to take the circumstances of our lives and enjoy ourselves, and others, while we look for the optimistic, positive possibilities brought our way, or we can stay in fear and pessimistic complaints when we are surrounded by multitudes of positive Blessings we are still unthankful for. Which will be your choice?
Wouldn't we rather have Our Heavenly Fathers Praise and fellowship through our pleasant presence?
