      Life is like a boat traveling on the sea, it is inevitable to confront storms along the way. When t alking of storms in my lifetime, I will immediately be reminded of the accident that happened to me when I was 9 years old.

      At that time, I was a pupil of an elementary school. The final exam was coming. In order to do well in it, we were all busy with reviewing, so we had little time to take a rest. It was time for a break so we all rushed out and hurried up to the toilet. On my way to the W.C. someone opened a window that I hadn't expected. I crashed into it before I could stop myself.

My head was completely covered with the broken glass: blood flowed from my face and neck. I was hurt badly but I could not feel any pain. I had no idea what had happened. The blood shocked the students around me, they shouted and ran away. Someone went to find a teacher, leaving me frightened to cry.

     My teacher took me to the hospital as soon as possible, when we arrived at the nearest hospital, I found my mouth full of glass, my body and my clothes totally red. It took two - hours to treat my wounds. Fortunately, it didn't destroy my face.

     Later, I was so afraid that I got sick while my wounds were still fresh. Every time I closed my eyes I could see my blood and the glass, then I felt dizzy, everything in the room seemed to go round and round. I had a fever for three days. I was very weak because of my loss of blood. Besides my wounds and being sick, there was another thing that bothered me, that was the final exam, which would be held the next week. Thanks to my mother's careful care and my classmates' help. I got better very soon and did well in my exam, even one of my subjects received a full mark.

    Traveling on the journey of life, there will be all kinds of things that happen to you. All I want to say is just enjoy what life gives you: laugh when you're happy, cry when you're sad. No matter what happens, it gives us experience and makes us strong. We should keep smiling and face to it with courage.
