“My Sea-world” by Linda Lan hongmei

Life is a journey full of thistles and thorns. Life without failure and pain is as dull as playing without a climax. Everyone is a producer who’s working on his/her own TV play. What kind of TV play do you want to create? There are many crossroads in our life. Different people make different choices. Therefore, everyone is unique. There is no absolute meaningless life. As for me, I prefer the life that eventually leads to a vast expansive sea. I am living in a puddle: simple, limited, but peaceful. There is no storm, nor drought. I appreciate my parents and friends. They have kept and will keep me company all the way. However, no puddle lasts forever. I aspire to join the outside world. It’s a true world, complicated but colorful. Just as the fish are made for water, I am made for my own world. In this world, I know who I am, what I want to do and what I can do. I will choose the world I really belong to. In the sea of life, learning how to swim, becoming professional, something just like the fish in the puddle. Not every fish can be a sparkling fish, but every fish can be a brave and knowledgeable one. In the third year of campus life, I will make full use of my time and do more meaningful things. With the impact of the financial crisis, the job market is gloomy. However, I think it’s a good opportunity to show ourselves. I believe in myself and will overcome the difficulties in the future.
